1429 Abbot Kinney blvd, Venice
A brilliant take on Californian food, this is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Venice. The only thing I wish was different about it, is that to would be on a different street, because it's always packet and there's always a wait for a table - because it's SO good! It's right on the famous Abbot Kinney blvd, so you can't miss is! They also have a cookbook that I'm obsessed with (but still haven't cooked anything from, but I will). Their pizza's are to die for, they just have all the flavors you could dream of in a pizza, and their salads are also amazing. They also have a take away kitchen right next door.
The Butcher, the Baker, the Cappuccino Maker
8653 Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood
It's a mouth-full of a name, and so is their food! I came here with my friend Nicole for the first time about a year and a half ago, and we had the avocado toast and the banana foster French toast (above) and had their amazing cold brew coffee, and I was hooked. This will be my go-to for breakfast/brunch/lunch forever until I find a place that will beat them (it'll be hard).

Petty Cash Taqueria

This actually is one of my favorite restaurants in LA. I think I've been here around 20 times (or more). Hey, don't judge me, they have the best spicy margarita. They are a fully organic restaurant, and they even have a woman that makes their salsas every morning, and their ingredients are sourced locally. I think they do a great job merging the Mexican and Angeleno culture. My favorites are the Dorados (third food pic), and the El Pastor (not pictured). But everything on this menu is amazing, its family friendly, great for a date night, and for larger parties.
